  • Strive to communicate your decision to accept or reject the manuscript in a timely and efficient manner. In most cases, you are expected to convey whether the paper is accepted, rejected, or needs revision.

  • Ensure that you submit your referee report promptly. Timely reports are crucial for expediting the publication process.

  • Once you have conveyed the outcomes and comments of your review to the editor, refrain from any communication with the authors. Editors will communicate with authors and make necessary revisions.
